Thank you so much in sharing a love for my fantasy conceptions and style of art! Its my pleasure to have you with me on my journey as I come out with new things, be them ideas from my muse or yours!
I am open for commissions!
To get started, please read my policies below 🙂
I will take either the full commission price up front, or I require 50% down and the rest paid on completion and before final shipment.
Currently the best methods of payment are personal check or Paypal. A commission wont be started until the payment is cleared.
50% of the commission price is non refundable should you change your mind and progress has begun or the project is abandoned by the client.
I am open to a payment plan. However I will not begin the commission process until the 50% down has been met.
Putting in full or a 50% down payment will earn you a guaranteed spot in my commission queue. This means if I happen to have a number of commissions ahead of yours, you will be added to that list and anyone else that comes after will be placed after your commission in the line up. The longer you wait to put in a payment the longer it will take me to get to your custom art, as someone else might slip in before you 🙂
Process Details For Critterlings/Sculptures
A commission is an agreement between myself and the client. So once we have worked out all the details and payment the commission can begin.
I will correspond with you via email communication to get ideas on the content your seeking and what size your seeking, how much detail and time will be required to determine the final price.
I will go back and forth with you showing pictures of the sculpting progress to be certain you are happy with the design and will make revisions until both of us are satisfied. At this time I will bake the sculpture into its final hardened shape.
Next iI will begin the process of working the final product with paints, filling, dry-brushing and detailing. During this time I will send pictures of the work in progress.
At the very end, you will have another opportunity with me to discuss any last minute changes to the paint job if they need to be made. Please note this does not mean scrapping a project or making overhauls to include new subject matter not previously agreed on in the preliminary phase.
This can change based on my schedule and the amount of detail and size of the commission. I am a stay at home mom, so most of my time is spent tending to my child. Certainly within a month a piece could be completed if there are not to many revisions. But either way you will remain in the loop of where I am at. That being said, if you need a commission done by a deadline, please try and book a commission with me a couple months in advance.
Things to consider before contacting me about a commission:
I have a certain artistic style, my works tend to be on the small size.
Please take a look at the current artwork on my website to get a feel for my style and realize that any commissions I do will come out with a similar feel.
I am most comfortable sculpting fantasy creatures or with animalistic forms or regular animals. I will not sculpt humans, but I am open to anthropomorphic characters / creatures.
Commission Rates and Info For Critterlings/Sculptures:
Critterlings: are small sized sculptures that are usually made to look more cute and cuddly with character. They come with a birth certificate/certificate of authenticity. They are all hand crafted so no two are alike! They are made from Sculpey clay and painted or embellished in high pigment folk art acrylics and Faber-Castell pastels. I have a selection of glass eyes to choose from of various colors. Finally they are sealed with a matte fixative spray to help protect against dirt and moisture.
Regular Sculpture: are custom sculptures made to look more realistic according to my personal artistic style. They come with a card of authenticity unless you request a birth certificate 🙂 These can range from any fantasy animal/creature or real life animals. They are all hand crafted so no two are alike! They are made from a professional super sculpey clay and painted in high pigment folk art acrylics. I have a selection of glass eyes to choose from of various colors. Finally they are sealed with a matte fixative spray to help protect against dirt and moisture.
This is a baseline idea of a starting rate. It may change based on the amount of detail you ask of me.
Basic Sitting or Laying Pose: A character in a simplified position that is not as time consume and requites no additional wire armature. This also means if the character has a long tail or wings or other long appendages they are tucked in / folded close to the body and supported.
Animated Pose: This means the character is asked to be standing or doing some form of action move. It could also mean having wings spread open, or tails that are flailing in the air as an example. These are features that require more armature for support and take more time and effort to complete 🙂
- A roughly 2 x 2 inch Critterling in a basic sitting/laying pose $60 animated pose $75

I retain all rights to the commissioned artwork, including usage, the right to reproduce, sell, show, display, and use the artwork as I see fit.
The client may post/display the image where you wish using watermarked version provided by me. You are prohibited to mass produce items, use the image or sculpture for business, or sell anything with the artwork on it. Commissioned works are meant to be enjoyed by the client in their personal space.
